- Spread room temperature butter onto the bread, edge to edge and season with salt.
- Start in a cold pan, cast iron is best, and never on high. Flip the switch to a nice, medium heat.
If you’re adding in extra’s like cider onions, or bacon and avocado, put a layer of cheese next to each slice of bread.
- Rotate bread throughout cooking.
- Let the sandwich REST before cutting.
