Being a part of the bustling Capitol Hill neighborhood is one thing that makes Capitol Cider a great place to visit. While we’re a bit biased that we have the best sips and bites in town, there’s a whole wide world out there of food experiences, just down the street.

Capitol Cider is one stop on Savor Seattle’s “Hip on the Hill Tour!” where you can experience a few of Capitol Hill’s hot spots including, Cupcake Royale,


Eltana Bagel Café, SOI Restaurant, Marination Station and Rachel’s Ginger Beer. This is a great way for Seattle Natives and visitors to experience the vibrant food culture around our neighborhood.

Savor Seattle Food Tours offers tastings at each location. For Capitol Cider’s part, we offer a house-made Italian style sausage with a cider pairing. The sausage features sweet fennel and shallots cooked in English cider, combined with chili, spices, and pork shoulder that are ground in-house for the sausage program. They are then cased in pork and are a 100% natural product. The 3-ounce portions are garnished with Malden’s English sea salt, extra virgin olive oil from our Moroccan importer, and fine herbs (tarragon, chive, parsley). On the side is a petite green salad, featuring locally-grown, organic lettuces, house-made rhubarb vinegar, toasted and spiced pepitas and fresh radish. (This salad is also available on our lunch and dinner menus.)


Savor Seattle Food Tours are two-hour walking tours that are limited to 12-16 people. The excursion features tastings that have a distinctly Seattle connection, focusing on fresh, local, organic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients, making Capitol Cider a perfect fit. They offer tours five days a week through the end of September, and three days a week for the rest of the year.
